Interior Design Manager

Manage a team of three Interior Designers in creating beautiful, function-forward solutions in the Showroom. Lead remodel projects , submit proposals, review bids, order materials and sett strategic direction for upcoming projects. Work as part of a large, high volume corporation collaborating with Commercial Team partners to create Efficient, Profitable and Inspiring solutions to generate long term profitability and brand affinity.

February 2016- December 2020

Interior Design

Create and maintain beautiful, functional, and inspiring solutions in the Showroom using interior design expertise, trend forecasting and IKEA Brand Identity with local market relevance in mind. Design solutions for a wide demographic of customers, style expressions, living situations and budgets inspiring people from every walk of life to improve their lives with better home furnishing solutions.

August 2011 - October 2013

Assistant Manager

Manage and train a staff of 3-4 employees at a Paint-Your-Own Pottery studio with three locations sharing a staff of 10-12. Completed monthly inventory and sales forecasting, ordering in new products based on consumer behavior, seasonality, and trends. Utilize Intuit QuickBooks for daily till balance and to gather insights into consumer behaviors and help inform future business decisions. Responsible for all product merchandising and designing window displays.
